Anangpur Dam is a rare pre-medieval quartzite gravity dam, about 7 m high, built to harvest stream water and attributed to the Tomar ruler Anangpal I. It lies near Anangpur village, close to Surajkund, within the Aravalli landscape. The site is valued both as an early engineering relic and as part of the region's wildlife corridor.
