This large building was constructed by Rai Bal Mukand Das, the Diwan of Narnaul, during the reign of Shah Jahan. It is a five-storeyed structure containing several halls, rooms and pavilions. Local tradition connects it to visits by Akbar and Birbal, which gave rise to its popular name.
