The Chaneti Buddhist Stupa is a hemispherical brick stupa about 3 km from Jagadhri, dated to the Mauryan period and traditionally attributed to Emperor Ashoka. Built of concentric layers of baked bricks, it is associated with the ancient region visited by the 7th-century Chinese pilgrim Xuanzang and is protected as a monument of national importance.
