Ferozepur Jhirka is a historic town in southern Nuh district, founded in 1419 by the Khanzada ruler Feroz Khan of Mewat. It retains the remains of a fort built by a courtier of Mughal emperor Farrukhsiyar and several old tombs. Set near the Aravalli hills and the Rajasthan border, it is a gateway to the region's Meo heritage.
