Kaushalya Dam is a 700-metre-long earth-fill embankment dam on the Kaushalya river, a tributary of the Ghaggar, built between 2008 and 2012 near Pinjore. Its reservoir is an important wetland that attracts migratory birds, and the site has been developed for recreation and water sports.
