Khol Hi-Raitan Wildlife Sanctuary is one of Haryana's largest sanctuaries, spread over the Shivalik foothills between Panchkula and the Morni hills. It shelters leopard, sambar, nilgai, wild boar and numerous bird species, and forms part of the catchment protecting the region's seasonal streams.
