The Khwaja Khizr Tomb at Jatwara in Sonipat was built by Ibrahim Lodi during 1522-24 CE in memory of the saint Khwaja Khizr, son of Darya Khan. Constructed in red sandstone, lakhauri brick and kankar, it stands on a high platform with a gateway of two arched openings decorated in blue, yellow, green and red. It is a protected monument under the Archaeological Survey of India.
