Kotla village, about 7 km south of Nuh, was a stronghold of the Khanzada rulers of Mewat and preserves the ruins of Raja Nahar Khan's fort, a medieval mosque and his tomb. The village sits beside the large Kotla (Dahar/Ujina) lake at the foot of the Aravallis, a seasonal wetland with a monsoon waterfall. The area draws visitors for its history and birdlife.
