This tomb honours Syed Mohammad, known as Miran Sahib, a saint traditionally said to have died in 899 CE while defending a Brahmin girl. It stands towards the southern edge of Karnal alongside a small mosque and an old family cemetery. It is one of the town's older Muslim heritage sites.
