This dargah houses the tomb of Sharafuddin Bu Ali Shah Qalandar (1209-1324), a Sufi saint of the Chishti order. The shrine and enclosure at Qalandar Chowk were built under the Mughal general Mahabat Khan, and the complex also holds the grave of the Urdu poet Altaf Hussain Hali. An annual Urs and Thursday gatherings draw visitors of many faiths.
