Zafargarh Fort was built by Maharaja Swaroop Singh of Jind State around 1854 as a security post to keep watch over the region after a local revolt at Lajwana. Located in Kila Zafargarh village in Julana tehsil south of Julana, only the boundary wall of the brick fort survives today, and it is listed among Haryana's monuments slated for conservation.
